I had an incredible experience here mid-August 2026. The top floor room was modern and clean, our room view was beautiful. Easy beach access and I feel the nightly price we paid made it a good deal. Extra special shoutout to the ladies working the morning breakfast. They worked hard at making sure nothing was ever out of stock - always smiling cheerful and friendly - it was definitely one of the best hotel complimentary breakfasts I have ever been to. It shows they take pride in giving the guests a great morning breakfast. There is a tip basket out, please tip them!!

Best of Brookings hotels. Pool, hot tub, great breakfast and wonderful views. Our room was clean and updated. Very happy with our stay. Friendly staff and the property is clean. Dining with a mile, just minutes to Brookings that has many options. Right on the beach!

First time ever staying there.Some friends told us about it.So we decided to stay there.It was nice waking up to the ocean being right there.Rooms just seem a little bit old.But other than that we would definitely stay there again.

Couple with large dog, nice oceanfront room and view, but it's worth noting we won't see the sunset over the ocean but instead over a peninsula to the north. Doesn't mean it's any less gorgeous or any less desirable to stay here, just sayin

I will start with if you're someone like me who likes to read reviews you will notice some of the reviews on the beachfront inn are great and some are terrible. I was nervous about staying here based off some of the bad reviews. To my surprise our room wasn't bad at all. Clean, dated yes but it was clean and the beds are comfortable so honestly for me that's all I cared about. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is standard and basic like what you'd get at like best western or other like chain hotels. Eggs, meat, potatoes, juices, coffee, pastries, bagles, waffles ect. My kids loved it. The pool was nice. Yes the spa is cold yet I'm not even sure if the staff knows. The access to the beach is great. There is a lot of drift wood but there are paths that lead you to the beach so I'm not sure why people complain about that. The paths are easy. Great location as there are stores, coffee shops and restaurants near by. Yes the price is steep but you're paying for the views, beach access and convenience to shops.

You can't beat these oceanfront rooms. Incredible views so close to the water. I love leaving the door open and listening to the waves all night while I sleep like a baby! The morning breakfast is good The pool is awesome and being able to just walk out the door and be on the beach. You can't beat the experience! Prices have gone up and it's gotten a little expensive but where else are you going to find something like this in Brookings?
